Homosexuality: A Christian Understanding

India’s on breaking point over a law in the Indian Penal Code, section 377 which criminalises all sorts of sexual activity which is not considered natural. Different views are flying all over the place. Some say its draconian and its a step backwards for society. While others say its not natural, its against family values and morals. In this heated battle its quite easy to find yourself in a position which is not favourable by all. I write this article for two reasons…First: dealing with the humanitarian view, and second: To deal with the question which is on every christian’s mind – Can one be a homosexual christian? My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me? – What Does It Mean?

“About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?”(which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).” – Matthew 27:46

What did Jesus mean when He said those words? Most say that Jesus was expressing His feelings of abandonment as God placed the sins of the world on Him – and because of that, God had to “turn away” from Jesus. The disappearance of flight MH370 has taught us that modern life is not beyond mystery, that our gird-mapped, super-connected world is less graspable than we thought. It has reminded us of a timeless agony – what it is not to know. – Janice Turner, The Times London

It’s been over 13 days from the time Malaysian flight 370 went missing with 239 people on board. Twenty-six nations are in the search process. Families, friends and loved ones are hoping for some answer or confirmation of MH370’s whereabouts.

In a world such as ours, with all the interconnectivity and satellite communications, there is silence – dead silence. Read more

Who is Jesus? – Jesus’ Divinity Decoded

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.” – Joseph Joubert

Every now and then I come across people who want to know whether Christ is Divine or some people who say Jesus never claimed Divinity. Time and time again I have given irrefutable evidence from Scripture about His Divinity and His claims, Most of which I have written here in this article. I am very thankful to people who seek to know the truth, I am not offended by their questions or comments, but rather very strengthened as all this helps me to know and to trust the reliability of Jesus. Trinity in The Old Testament

The Reason for my writing this article is that many people say that the TRINITY is a New Testament theology. But that’s not true. The trinity has always been there, and even the Prophets and Old testament writers believed in that. So lets take a look at some key verses of the Old Testament, on how God revealed himself. Read more
